List Building How To

I just came back from New York and I want to share some of my thoughts and a picture of two.

As you know a friend of mine from architecture school came to visit and I wanted her to have a day that was different from the normal touristy day when you see what is in the guide books…

So I gave her 14 hour drive-around in the New York City/New Jersey area.

She learned that there are all kinds of people in America, and they look and sound like any other people… they don’t have two heads, they are not all rich…

She learned that people like to spend time with other people just like themselves.

She learned that in a matter of minutes life can shift and move from here to there.

She learned that allowing another to win causes peace… (we spent a lot of time in traffic jams…)

She learned that fretting about something doesn’t change it so we sang and laughed a lot, especially when we were stuck in traffic.

She learned that you can get an overview by going on bridges and ridges, and you get to see more of New York from outside of it: from New Jersey… lol.

How this is connected to marketing? a lot… and I may find time to elaborate, at the moment I am exhausted.
